Redeeming a Saved Purchase: Web Portal

Students have the option to “Redeem Now” or “Redeem Later” when purchasing from the store with a staff member. The “Redeem Later” option holds the purchase like an electronic coupon in the system. If your school is using student purchasing, students will purchase through their authorized Student App or Student Portal.

On the web portal, there are three places to check if a student has any purchases that need to be approved or redeemed. The Store, a group, or in Reports/Redeem Reports/Redeem & Approval Queue.

Redeem Queue from the Store Page

  1. Choose “Store” from the main menu and then select the appropriate store.
  2. Choose to the “Redeem” button in the upper right.
  3. Select if you will be redeeming purchases or approving purchases.
  4. Search for a student or select the “Show All Students” button.
  5. Select “Redeem Now” or “Redeem Later” and “Approve” or “Deny” on individual student purchases.

6. The other option here is to choose “Select All” to approve all the selected items as either redeem now or redeem later. Once selected, the button will change to “Deselect All.”

9. “Redeem Now” or “Redeem Later”

10. Now that these items are approved, ” Redeem Purchases” is where you will find them with other purchases ready to be redeemed. “Redeem Purchases” also can be selected at the drop-down in step 3.

  1. Search for a student or select the “Show All Students” button.
  2. “Select All” allows you to select all the displayed purchases.
  3. You can unselect any individual purchases, as needed.
  4. “Redeem Selected”
  5. A confirmation pop-up shows you how many purchases will be redeemed. Select “yes” or “no.”

 

Redeem Queue from a Group

  1. Navigate to the “Groups” page from the main menu and select the group you would like to use.
  2. Select the “Menu” button and choose the appropriate store (School Store or My Store).
  3. Press the cart icon to open the redeem queue for that store.
  4. Proceed with redeeming and approving. See the Store queue example above.
