Create and Edit Raffles

  1. From the left-side Main Menu, choose “Raffles.”
  2.  All users will have a “My Raffles” edit button. Select “My Raffles.”

*A user with Store/Event Admin permission will be able to see a “School Raffles” option. The process of creating a raffle is the same for the school-wide raffle and the “My Raffle.” Simply select “School Raffles” instead of “My Raffles” to create a school-wide raffle. This video demonstrates how the raffle feature works with a classroom raffle.

 

The “My Raffles” screen has the following features:

  1. Selecting “My Past Raffles” will allow you to view and re-run past raffles
  2. “Back to Run Raffles” will take you back to the main raffles page
  3. Use the “Add New Raffle” button to create a new raffle.

From the pop-up screen, select the type of raffle: Redeem or Qualify

Redeem Raffle

If you select “Redeem,” you fill out the following information:

  1. Name for the raffle: a raffle name can have up to 24 characters.
  2. Description of the raffle: a raffle description can have up to 100 characters.
  3. The date for the raffle: the date must be today or in the future.
  4. Define the number of winners: a raffle may have up to 999 winners.
  5. “Allow Multi-Point Entry” lets you make raffle entries cost a specific amount of points. Auto-entry will not be allowed.
  6. Determine the grades that will be eligible for this raffle.
  7. Determine if students will be able to enter this raffle from the student portal or app.
  8. Check “Show in List” if you are ready for chances to be sold for this raffle. This also adds the raffle to the drop-down menu on the register students page.
  9. Hit “Save” to keep the raffle, or use “Cancel” or “Delete” to remove the raffle.

Qualify Raffle

Fill out the following information to create a new Qualify raffle:

1. Select “Qualify (Based on Points Earned)” from the “Raffle Type:” drop-down.

2. Select “Qualify type:”

  • Earned Points for Grading Period (If you select one of the “Grading Period” options, you will need to select which Grading Period in the next drop-down menu)
  • Earned Points for Year
  • Expectation Points for Grading Period
  • Expectation Points for Year

3. Name for the raffle: a raffle name can have up to 24 characters.

4. Description of the raffle: a raffle description can have up to 100 characters.

5. Select a Date for the raffle: the date must be today or in the future.

6. Choose the number of points required to enter the raffle. (If “Expectation Points” are selected you will choose the points per expectation)

7. Define the number of winners: a raffle may have up to 999 winners

8. Decide the grades that will be able to enter the raffle.

9. Determine if students will be able to enter this raffle from the student portal or app.

10. Check “Show in List” if you are ready for chances to be sold for this raffle. This also adds the raffle to the drop-down menu on the register students page.

11. Hit “Save” to keep the raffle, or use “Cancel” to remove the raffle.

Delete:

  • Selecting “Edit Raffle” will give you the option to delete a raffle. If any students have already purchased chances for the raffle, their points will be refunded.
  • Other Edit Features
    • Edit Prizes
    • Duplicate
